Upcoming Events at The Faculty Club

• Movies: Enjoy new movies at a discounted price! Metropolitan Theaters Discount Movie Passes are available for purchase at The Club Office for only $5.50 - a savings of $2.75 off the full ticket price! This is a great way to save and still see all your favorite new releases. Just stop by the office anytime during office hours.

• Traveling? Don't forget to check the ACUC website for the reciprocal clubs you can visit. On the home page, click on Club Roster, then Club Reciprocity.

• ART AT THE CLUB: Patrick Burke

  The Faculty Club is pleased to have the art of Patrick Burke exhibited
  July 1, 2008 through August 29, 2008. His collection of work is titled 'On the Surface of our Moon.'
  
  Patrick Burke became an artist in 1977 after spending three years as a commercial fisherman in Alaska where he fished for King Crab, shrimp, halibut and salmon on the North Pacific and on the Bering Sea. He has exhibited his artwork in galleries in the United States and Europe.
  
  He was the fisrt American artist to exhibit in East Berlin after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Works in the exhibit include paintings, etchings, silkscreen prints, pen and ink, photography and computer graphics.   There will be an artist's reception on Tuesday, July 8th from 5:00pm to 7:30pm. You can also view the art Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. As always, the art is available for purchase.
